Seasonal planning

Raya Collection Manufacturing Timeline: When Apparel Brands Should Start

Seasonal apparel succeeds when planning starts early. For Raya collections, timing matters because fabric demand, sampling rounds, production capacity, and delivery schedules all become tighter as the season approaches.

Start with range planning

Begin with the customer, price point, size range, silhouettes, colours, and target launch date. A focused range is easier to sample, cost, produce, and merchandise.

If you are working with custom fabrics or special trims, the planning window should be longer because sourcing can become the bottleneck.

Allow time for sampling

Sampling should not be treated as a formality. Fit, modesty, fabric drape, lining, closures, embroidery, and finishing all affect how a Raya garment feels and sells.

Build enough time for at least one correction round. Rushing sample approval usually moves problems into bulk production, where they become more expensive.

Book production capacity early

Seasonal production slots fill quickly. Once the range, quantities, and samples are approved, fabric and trims should be booked so bulk cutting and sewing can begin on schedule.

A realistic timeline protects launch dates, photography, retail distribution, and online campaign planning.
